Michael Badgley
Michael Badgley (born July 28, 1995) is an American football placekicker for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miami Hurricanes football, Miami and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts in 2018. Badgley has also played for the Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, and Detroit Lions. He is nicknamed the "Money Badger". Placekicker
Placekicker, or simply kicker (PK or K), is the player in gridiron football who is responsible for the kicking duties of field goals and extra points. In many cases, the placekicker also serves as the team's kickoff specialist or punter. Specialized role The kicker initially was not a specialized role. Prior to the 1934 standardization of the prolate spheroid shape of the ball, drop kicking was the prevalent method of kicking field goals and conversions, but even after its replacement by place kicking, until the 1960s the kicker almost always doubled at another position on the roster. Walter Kichefski Football Award
Walter Raymond Kichefski (June 17, 1916 – January 9, 1992) was an American football player and coach. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) with the Pittsburgh Steelers, from 1940 to 1942, and again in 1944 with "Card-Pitt", a team that was the result of a temporary merger between the Chicago Cardinals and the Steelers. The merger was result of the manning shortages experienced league-wide due to World War II. He also served in the military during the war. His name is included on the NFL honor roll, which lists over 1,000 NFL personnel who served in the military during World War II. Kichefski played college football at the University of Miami. Edward Nathan George Jr. (born September 24, 1973) is an American football coach and former player who is the current head coach at Tennessee State. He played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, primarily for the Houston / Tennessee Oilers / Titans franchise. Vincent Frank Testaverde Sr. (; born November 13, 1963) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 21 seasons. He played college football at Miami, where he was an All-American and won the Heisman Trophy in 1986. Testaverde was drafted first overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1987 NFL Draft.
