Micah Alexander Abernathy (born February 10, 1997) is an American football free safety for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tennessee, and originally signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL, the Dallas Renegades of the XFL, and the Houston Gamblers of the United States Football League (USFL). Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The 40-yard dash is a sprint covering . It is primarily run to evaluate the speed and acceleration of American football players by scouts, particularly for the NFL Draft but also for collegiate recruiting. A player's recorded time can have a heavy impact on his prospects in college or professional football. This was traditionally only true for the "skill" positions such as running back, wide receiver, and defensive back, although now a fast 40-yard dash time is considered important for almost every position. 2022 New Orleans Saints Season
The 2022 season was the New Orleans Saints' 56th in the National Football League (NFL), their 47th playing home games at the Caesars Superdome and their first under head coach Dennis Allen. Dallin Leavitt (born August 8, 1994) is an American football strong safety who is a free agent. He played college football at BYU and Utah State. Early life and high school Leavitt grew up in Portland, Oregon and initially attended Westview High School before transferring to Central Catholic High School. USFL
The United States Football League (USFL) was a professional American football league that played for three seasons, 1983 through 1985. The league played a spring/summer schedule in each of its active seasons. The 1986 season was scheduled to be played in the autumn/winter, directly competing against the long-established National Football League (NFL). However, the USFL ceased operations before that season was scheduled to begin. The standing long jump, also known as the standing broad jump, is an athletics event. It was an Olympic event until 1912. It is one of three standing variants of track and field jumping events, which also include the standing high jump and standing triple jump.
