Mian Jaleel Ahmed
Mian Jaleel Ahmed Sharaqpuri (born 6 March 1962) is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from October 2018 till his resignation in July 2022. Previously, he was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2007. Early life and education He was born on 6 March 1962 in Sharaqpur, Pakistan. He graduated from the Islamia College in 1984. In 1988, he received a degree of Master of Arts in Economics from the University of the Punjab. Political career He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) from Constituency NA-132 (Sheikhupura-II) in 2002 Pakistani general election. He received 51,159 votes and defeated Mian Muhammad Azhar. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi (Urdu, pa, ; born 1 November 1945) is a Pakistani politician who is currently serving as the Chief Minister of Punjab and the President of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), a conservative centrist to centre-right-nationalist party. The Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab (Urdu: اسپیکر پنجاب اسمبلی) is the presiding official of the Punjab Assembly. Informally, the Speaker is also called Speaker Punjab Assembly. General elections were held in Pakistan on Wednesday, 25 July 2018 to elect the members of 15th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies.
