Mi-Hyun Kim
Mi-Hyun Kim ( ko, 김미현, born 13 January 1977) is a professional golfer from South Korea. She turned professional in 1996 and won 11 events on the LPGA of Korea Tour (KLPGA) between 1996 and 2000. In 1999, she joined the LPGA Tour and was named was Rookie of the Year that year. She has won eight LPGA events with her best finish in a women's majors, major championship second place at the 2001 Women's British Open. Background Born in Incheon, Kim received the nicknamed "Peanut" because she stands only tall. LPGA golfers also refer to her as "Kimmy." Hee-Won Han
Han Hee-won (Korean 한희원) (born 10 June 1978 in Seoul) is a retired South Korean professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. She was a member of the LPGA Tour from 2001 until her retirement in 2014 and won six LPGA Tour events during her career. She attended Ryukoku University and turned professional in 1998. In 1998 she competed on the LPGA of Korea Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour, claiming Rookie of the Year honours in Japan. In 1999 she won twice in Japan. She qualified for the U.S.-based LPGA Tour at the 2000 Qualifying School and has played mainly in the United States since 2001. She was Rookie of the Year in her first season. Jenny Lidback
Jenny Lidback (born 30 March 1963) is a professional golfer. Lidback was born in Lima, Peru to Swedish parents. She attended Texas Christian University and Louisiana State University. Lidback's rookie season on the LPGA Tour was 1989. Her only win on the Tour came in 1995 at one of the major championships, the du Maurier Ltd. Classic. She had her best finish on the money list in the same year, placing 21st. She retired from tournament golf after the 2003 season. Lidback became a U.S. citizen in May 2003. Beth Daniel (born October 14, 1956) is an American professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1979 and won 33 LPGA Tour events, including one major championship, during her career. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Early life and amateur career Daniel was born on October 14, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina. She played her collegiate golf at Furman University, and was on the 1976 national championship team that included future LPGA players Betsy King, Sherri Turner and Cindy Ferro. In 1977, she won the Broderick Award (now the Honda Sports Award) as the nation's best female collegiate golfer. Ji Young "Pearl" Sinn-Bonanni (born July 17, 1967) is a Korean-American professional golfer who played on the LPGA, LPGA Tour. She played under her maiden name, Pearl Sinn until her marriage in 2002. Sinn was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her family moved to the United States when she was 9 and she became a U.S. citizen at age 14, renouncing her Korean citizenship. Sinn had a very successful amateur career. She played college golf at Arizona State University where she was a three-time All-American. Janice C. Moodie (born 31 May 1973) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour but is also a member of the Ladies European Tour. The 1999 LPGA Tour was the 50th season since the LPGA Tour officially began in 1950. The season ran from January 15 to November 14. The season consisted of 38 official money events. Karrie Webb won the most tournaments, six. She also led the money list with earnings of $1,591,959. The season saw the first tournament with a winner's share of over $300,000, the U.S. Women's Open. Lee Won-hee
Lee Won-hee (born July 19, 1981) is a South Korean quadruple judo champion. Lee won the gold medal in the men's lightweight division at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. He was the world champion in 2003. He also won the gold medal in 2006 Asian Games and 2003 Asian Judo Championships. He won his Olympic gold medal by way of Ippon against Vitaly Makarov of Russia with 9 seconds left. He was leading in the bout anyway, but had secured the win when he went in for Drop Seoi Nage and combined it with Ko-Ouchi Gari to deliver Makarov onto his back with force.
