Cornelius Jacobsen Mey
Cornelis Jacobsen Mey (in Dutch often rendered as Cornelius Jacobsz. May) was a Dutch explorer, captain and fur trader. Lev Mei
Lev Aleksandrovich Mei (russian: Лев Алекса́ндрович Мей (name sometimes transliterated as Lev Mey); ) was a Russian dramatist and poet. Biography Mei was born on 13/25 February 1822, in Moscow. His father was a German officer who was wounded in the Battle of Borodino and died young. His mother was Russian. Mei completed his studies in Moscow in 1841 and served in the office of the Governor for 10 years. He became part of the "young editorial staff" of Mikhail Pogodin's ''Moskvityanin''. For a time, he taught secondary school, but was forced to retire because of conflicts with his colleagues. He moved to Saint Petersburg, where he was active in literary endeavors. It was during this period that he contributed to the leading Russian magazines, including ''Biblioteka Dlya Chteniya'', ''Otechestvennye Zapiski'', '' Syn Otechestva'', ''Russkoye Slovo'', '' Russkiy Mir'', and '' Svetoch''.

Marie Anett (born June 3, 1971, as Marie-Anett Mey) is a French model, entertainer, singer and musician born in Paris, France. She gained popularity success throughout the 1990s as the lead vocal performer of the German eurodance music group Fun Factory. Melis Karin Mey
Karin Melis Mey, née Karin Mey, (born 31 May 1983) is a South African-born Turkish female long jumper. She became a naturalised Turkish citizen in June 2008, and took the name Melis in addition to her birth name Karin Mey. The tall athlete at is a member of Fenerbahçe Athletics team, where she is coached by Charley Strohmenger. Representing South Africa, one of her first international appearances was a sixth-place finish at the 2005 Summer Universiade. She represented her adopted country at the 2008 Summer Olympics, competing in the qualifying stages of the long jump. She was also sixth at the 2008 IAAF World Athletics Final that year. Melis Mey qualified for the 2009 European Athletics Indoor Championships but did not make the final. Karl Mey
Karl Mey (March 1879 – May 1945) was a prominent German industrial physicist who directed the research and development branch of Osram AG. His presidency of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft, starting the year Hitler became Chancellor of Germany, was crucial in that organization's ability to assert its independence from National Socialist policies. Education Mey studied physics and mathematics at the Humboldt University of Berlin from 1897. He received his doctorate in 1902 under Emil Warburg; his thesis was on the cathode gradient of alkali metals. Kerstin Mey (born 1963) is a German academic and president of the University of Limerick. She was the first woman to head a university in Ireland, on an acting basis, and having participated in an international competition, was appointed to the full position with effect from 8 October 2021. Reinhard Friedrich Michael Mey (born 21 December 1942) is a German "Liedermacher" (literally "songmaker", a German-style singer-songwriter). In France he is known as ''Frédérik Mey''. By 2009, Mey had released 27 German albums, and generally releases a new album approximately every two years; his first album was ''Ich wollte wie Orpheus singen'' (1967); the most recent studio album is ''Das Haus an der Ampel'' (2020). Uwe-Jens Mey (born 13 December 1963) is a German former speed skater, considered to be the fastest sprinter of his time because of his 500 metres supremacy in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was born in Warsaw, Poland. Biography Originally competing for East Germany (and after the German reunification for Germany), Mey's first notable achievement was in December 1983. At the age of 19, he outpaced André Hoffmann in the 500 metres and by doing so, Mey earned the East German title and a ticket to the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
