The Mexican National Women's Tag Team Championship (Spanish: ''Campeonato Nacional Femenil de Parejas'') is a Mexican national tag team professional wrestling championship that is run exclusively for female wrestlers. The championship is sanctioned and controlled by the ''Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre México D.F.'' (Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission), and is currently promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Because it is a professional wrestling championship, the winner of the Mexican National Women's Tag Team Championship is decided by a scripted ending to a match rather that by actual competition. The championship was introduced in mid-1990; the mother/daughter team of Irma González and Irma Aguilar defeated Neftali and Satanakia in the finals of a tournament to determine the inaugural champions. Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Irma González (wrestler)
Irma Morales Muñoz (born August 20, 1936), best known by her ring name Irma González, is a Mexican retired ''luchadora'' (or professional wrestler). During her over forty-year career, from the 1950s to the 1990s, she also competed at various times under the masked characters Flor Negra ("Black Flower"), Rosa Blanca ("White Rose"), La Tirana ("The Tyrant"), La Dama del Enfermero ("The Nurse Lady"), La Enfermera ("The Nurse") and La Novia del Santo ("The Bride of El Santo"). La Metálica (born November 13, 1994) is the ring name of a Mexican ''luchadora enmascarada'', or masked female professional wrestler who works for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) portraying a '' técnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character. La Metálica's given name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept concealed from the general public. Guadalupe Ramona Olvera is a Mexican professional wrestler, or ''Luchadora'' as they are called in Spanish, best known under the ring name La Amapola (Spanish for "The Poppy"). Olvera is best known for her work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), which she has worked for all her career. Mexican National Heavyweight Championship
The Mexican National Heavyweight Championship (called the ''Campeonato Nacional Completo'' in Spanish) is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) championship created and sanctioned by the Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission (Spanish: ''Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre México D.F.''). While the Commission sanctions the title, it does not promote the events in which the Championship is defended. Hardcore wrestling is a form of professional wrestling where disqualifications, count-outs, and all other different rules do not apply.
