Daniel Philip Meuser ( ; born February 10, 1964) is an American businessman, politician, and philanthropist who is the U.S. representative for Pennsylvania's 9th congressional district. A Republican, he previously served as the secretary of revenue in the cabinet of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett. He was previously president of the Pride Corporation, a manufacturer of motorized wheelchairs in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton metro area of Pennsylvania, and currently serves the company as a board member and consultant. He has previously testified before Congress regarding the criticality for federal practices surrounding rights and caring for the disabled. In November 2018, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Jay Meuser (September 28, 1911 — August 19, 1963) was an American abstract expressionist painter. Meuser's style was versatile and his works prolific. In his lifetime he worked as an illustrator, portrait painter and cartoonist for several newspaper editorial pages. Biography He married Dorothy Ellen Morris in 1938. Their only child, Jacqueline Ellen Meuser, married Suren Saroyan, MD, cousin of the famous American Playwright William Saroyan. "I've led a most full life," he said to his wife just before his death. Besides teaching at the Art School of San Francisco, he had been a baseball pitcher, a vaudeville performer, a sailor working around the world twice, and "was more than a fair boxer." He had worn 14 different law enforcement badges. At 31, he was the youngest chief of police in Marin County, California. Hans-Georg "Micki" Meuser (also spelled Mickey; born in Alsdorf, Germany) is a German bass player, studio musician and music producer for bands such as Die Ärzte, Ideal, Ina Deter, Lemonbabies, among others. In 1974, he played the electric bass guitar in bands like Out and the Alsdorf Big Band. In the early 1980s, he formed the Nervösen Deutschen ( Nervous Germans) and brought Australian lead singer Grant Stevens from London to Germany.
