Metta Fock
Metta (or Mätta) Charlotta Fock, née ''Ridderbjelke'' (10 June 1765 – 7 November 1810), was a Swedish noble and sentenced murderer. She was executed for murdering her spouse, son and daughter in order to marry her lover. Life Metta Fock was the daughter of quartermaster noble Axel Erik Ridderbjelke and Helena Margareta Gripenmark. In 1783, she married the noble sergeant Henrik Johan Fock (1757-1802). The marriage was arranged. The couple had several children, four of whom, two daughters and two sons, were alive by 1800. The couple lived on the estate Lilla Gisslaved in Trevattna parish in Västergötland. It was a small farm with only one tenant, and their economic standard was very low for members of the nobility. Metta Von Oberg
Anna Metta von Oberg (November 10, 1737 – October 25, 1794) was a German Baroness and close friend to Augusta Louise zu Stolberg-Stolberg. Von Oberg was born in Jersbek, Duchy of Holstein, and lived in the period from 1762 to 1794 in the monastery of Uetersen. There she met Augusta Louise zu Stolberg-Stolberg. After they left the monastery, they lived together in a small apartment south of the monastery. Although Metta was 15 years older, they were linked in a deep friendship. She also played a part in the heart of the friendship between Augusta Louise and the poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Again and again she encouraged the young Augusta Louise in correspondence with the poet, unaware that both would feature in later literary history. Metta Sandiford-Artest (born Ronald William Artest Jr.; November 13, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player. He was known as Ron Artest before legally changing his name to Metta World Peace in 2011 and later to Metta Sandiford-Artest in 2020. Sandiford-Artest played college basketball for the St. John's Red Storm. He played for six teams in the NBA and gained a reputation as one of the league's premier defenders. He won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2004, when he was also named an NBA All-Star and earned All-NBA honors. He won an NBA championship in 2010 as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
