Metro İstanbul is a public rail transport operator headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. The M4, officially referred to as the M4 Kadıköy - Sabiha Gökçen Airport metro line ( tr, M4 Kadıköy–Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı metro hattı), is a , 23-station rapid transit line of the Istanbul Metro. Running between Kadıköy and Sabiha Gökçen Airport, it is the first rapid transit line operating on the Asian side of Istanbul. The M4 mostly runs under State road D100, parallel to the Istanbul-Ankara railway and is entirely underground. At 34 km in length, M4 is currently the longest line of the Istanbul Metro. M9 (Istanbul Metro)
The M9, officially referred to as the M9 Ataköy-Olimpiyat line, is a rapid transit line of the Istanbul Metro system in the European part of Istanbul, Turkey. The line will be long with 14 stations and is expected to go into full service in 2023. The M7, officially referred to as the M7 Kabataş–Mahmutbey metro line ( tr, M7 Kabataş–Mahmutbey metro hattı) is a rapid transit line of the Istanbul Metro system on the European part of Istanbul, Turkey. M6 (Istanbul Metro)
Line M6, officially referred to as the M6 Levent – Boğaziçi Üniversitesi/Hisarüstü line, is a light metro line of the Istanbul Metro. The line opened for public service on 19 April 2015. Except for the very small Tünel, this line is the shortest of the Istanbul Metro system with only four stations. Overview The project was a cooperation between Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Transport, Maritime and Communication.
