Metro Cuatro Caminos
Cuatro Caminos (translated from Spanish the name literally means "Four Roads") is a station of the Mexico City metro network. Colloquially known as "Metro Toreo", it is the current north terminus of Line 2. The adjacent Mexipuerto Cementos Fortaleza Cuatro Caminos mixed-use development opened in 2016 and houses, besides a shopping center, residential tower and sports facility, a bus terminal that is a hub for regional bus and minibus transport from and into the State of Mexico. In 2019, the station had an average ridership of 114,947 passengers per day, making it the third busiest station in the network. As of 14 September 1970 Line 2 originally terminated at Metro Tacuba, but on 22 August 1984 the line was extended an additional two stations to reach the municipality of Naucalpan. Naucalpan De Juárez
Naucalpan, officially Naucalpan de Juárez, is one of 125 municipalities located just northwest of Mexico City in the adjoining State of Mexico. The municipal seat is the city of Naucalpan de Juárez, which extends into the neighboring municipality of Huixquilucan. The name Naucalpan comes from Nahuatl and means "place of the four neighborhoods" or "four houses." Juárez was added to the official name in 1874 in honor of Benito Juárez. The history of the area begins with the Tlatilica who settled on the edges of the Hondo River between 1700 and 600 B.C.E., but it was the Mexica who gave it its current name when they dominated it from the 15th century until the Spanish conquest of the Mexica Empire. ''Cuatro Caminos'' (English: Four Roads) is the fifth album by Mexican rock band Café Tacuba, released in 2003. Background ''Cuatro Caminos'' was produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Weezer) and Andrew Weiss (Ween). The title ''Cuatro Caminos'' references the name of a major road intersection and metro station in Mexico City. The album is marked by wordplay, as in the song titles "Hoy Es" (sounds like "Oyes", meaning "You're Listening"), "Soy o Estoy", and "Hola Adiós" (sounds like "Hola a Dios", meaning "Hello to God"). Café Tacvba (Pronounced ''kaˈfe taˈkuβa'') is a band from Ciudad Satélite, Mexico. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s. Toreo Parque Central (literally, "Central Park Bullring") is a mixed-use development in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Greater Mexico City. It has an enclosed shopping center named Plaza Toreo and it was built on the site of the former bullring Toreo de Cuatro Caminos.
