Sinugra
Sinugra (also spelled Shinoogra / Sinogra / Sinougra) is a village 7 km from the town of Anjar, in the Anjar taluka of Kutch district in the Indian state of Gujarat. History The village is one of the eighteen villages founded by Mistris of Kutch in late 12th century. The Mistris of these villages have built and developed the infrastructure around the villages in late 1890. Geology There is a limestone mine which located across the hill named ''Topi dungar'' behind the Sinugra village. Also the Sang river, which rises from this hill behind village serves the water needs of village. The river flows through other parts of Anjar taluka. Heritage The village boasted of 200 odd houses made by rich Mistri families, ornate facades, intricate door carvings and metal grill windows and verandah depicting life of Queen Victoria. Nagor
Nagor or Nagher is a village in Bhuj Taluka of Kutch at a distance of about 8 km from Bhuj town, the capital of Kachchh District of Gujarat in India. History Nagor is one of the 18 villages founded by the Mistris of Kutch, Mistri community of Kutch in late 12th century. This group of warriors were also skilled architects and have contributed to the erection of many historical monuments of Kutch. During the years of the laying of railway lines in British India between around 1850 and 1930, many members of Mistris moved out and made themselves into big railway contractors throughout British India. Galpadar
Galpadar is a village in the Gandhidham Municipal Corporation, within the Kutch District of Gujarat State of India. It is located at a distance of about 3 km from Gandhidham, 11 km from Anjar and 51 km from Bhuj. An airport is 3 kilometers away, while Kandla Port is 12 km away. Madhapar is a village located in Kutch district in the state of Gujarat, India. It is one of the richest villages in India in terms of bank deposits.
