Mesa College Foundation
San Diego Mesa College (Mesa College or Mesa) is a public community college in Clairemont Mesa in San Diego, California. It is part of the California Community Colleges and the San Diego Community College District. It is the largest community college in the city of San Diego and the 16th largest community college in the state. Community college education in San Diego began in 1914 when the Board of Education of the San Diego City Schools authorized post secondary classes for San Diego high school students. Classes opened with four faculty members serving 35 students. San Diego Mesa College first opened in 1964. Initially offering education to 1,800 students, it has grown to become one of the largest community colleges in California. An associate degree is an undergraduate degree awarded after a course of post-secondary study lasting two to three years. Michelle Ozbun
Michelle Adair Ozbun (born February 16, 1965) is an American molecular virologist who is the Maralyn S. Budke Endowed Professor in Viral Oncology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Her research considers cancer biology and how human papillomavirus infections cause pathology including their contributions to cancers. Early life and education Ozbun received an associate of science degree at Mesa College (now Colorado Mesa University), where she was recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2009. She was an undergraduate student in microbiology and chemistry at Colorado State University. She completed her PhD in molecular virology under the supervision of Janet S. Mike Martz
Michael Martz (born May 13, 1951) is an American football coach. Best known for his coaching tenure with the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL), he served as the offensive coordinator for the Rams' Greatest Show on Turf offense in 1999 that led the franchise to its first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXIV. City Winery is a winery, restaurant, music venue and private event location in Hudson Square, New York City. Other locations include Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia. Satellite locations are sited in Chicago and New York City. Shlomo Lipetz ( he, שלמה ליפץ; born February 11, 1979) is an Israeli baseball player who pitches for Team Israel. He is also Vice President of Programming and music director at City Winery in New York City. He was on the Israel national team for Israel at the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Mathew Joseph Kofler (August 30, 1959 – December 19, 2008) was an American professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) from 1982 to 1985. He played for the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts. He was appointed head coach at San Diego Mesa College in 2006. Early years Kofler played high school football for Patrick Henry High School in San Diego. Kofler was first-team All-American quarterback for Mesa College. Osama Mohd Fathi Daghles, commonly known by the nickname Sam Daghles (born September 18, 1979), is a Jordanian professional basketball player of Palestinian origin. He currently works as an assistant coach for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G League. Darren Comeaux (born April 15, 1960) is a former professional American football linebacker for the Denver Broncos (1982–86), San Francisco 49ers (1987) and Seattle Seahawks (1988–91) of the NFL.
