Merulempista
''Merulempista'' is a genus of moths of the family Pyralidae described by Rolf-Ulrich Roesler in 1967. It is a small genus of eleven described species and subspecies, distributed in the Palearctic realm except ''Merulempista cyclogramma'' occurring in the Indomalayan realm and ''Merulempista oppositalis'' ranging from the Indomalayan to Australasian realms. ''Merulempista ragonoti'' is a species of Pyralidae, snout moth. It is found in Portugal, France and North Africa, including Algeria and Morocco. The wingspan is 16–20 mm. The forewings are buffy greyish white with reddish grey bands. The hindwings are also buffy greyish white. The larvae feed on ''Tamarix africana''. References
