Merovingian Music
Merovingian Music also abbreviated as MRV or MRV Music, is a non-genre specific record label in Red Bank, New Jersey. The label was founded by Jack Ponti who is also CEO of the company. Shortly after, independent label owners Gregory Edgerton and Kyle Kraszewski were appointed co-presidents. MRV entered a partnership with Jive/Battery to release the MC and Drummer duo Big Heed and Alien. In early 2010 Capitol Records, C.E. Music (David Letterman's Worldwide Pants Inc.) and MRV joined forces to release the pop-rock band Runner Runner, which includes former members of Rufio, Over It, and Don't Look Down. Merovingian signed Belgian rock band Black Box Revelation and has released music by Sebastian Bach and Anthony Hamilton via a distribution deal with EMI. Black Box Revelation
Black Box Revelation (BBR, previously named The Black Box Revelation) is a Belgian garage rock band. It was formed in 2005 by vocalist and guitarist Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck. The band achieved great reviews with their debut ''Set Your Head on Fire'' and second album ''Silver Threats''. In 2011, the band released their third album ''My Perception'', including the hit singles "Rattle My Heart" and "My Perception". Career Formation Jan Paternoster and Dries Van Dijck, two friends from Dilbeek, started playing together (with Jan's brother Tim Paternoster as vocalist and Christoph Marquez on second guitar) as “The Mighty Generators”, at the respective ages of 12 and 14 years old. Wire Daisies
Wire Daisies were an English band from Cornwall, who were signed to EMI 'Angel' offshoot. The idea for the band was mooted in 1999 by three members of the group who had met at a party to mark the solar eclipse, however it was not until 2002 that the band finally took shape. After recording a batch of material in a farmhouse in Cornwall, the band signed to digital record label Transistor Project, which was co-founded by Blur drummer Dave Rowntree. Supagroup
Supagroup is an American rock and roll band from New Orleans, Louisiana. Their current lineup includes vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chris Lee, lead guitarist Benji Lee, bassist Brian "Bruiser" Broussard, and drummer Leon Touzet. Chris Lee is married to former White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult. In early 2003, the band won the New Orleans regional poll in The 2nd Annual Independent Music Awards for their song "She's Hot (I'm On A Roll)." Kittie is a Canadian Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996. All of their material has been released through independent record labels, which to date includes six studio albums, one video album, four extended plays, thirteen singles, and thirteen music videos. "Kittie" was chosen as the band name because the name "seemed contradictory." Kittie formed in 1996 when Fallon Bowman and Mercedes Lander met in gym class.
