The Nidder is a 69 km long river in Hesse, Germany, and part of the Main (river), Main-Rhine system. From its source at Herchenhainer Höhe it flows down to Bad Vilbel where it meets with the Nidda (river), Nidda. Hirzenhain is a municipality in the Wetteraukreis, in Hesse, Germany. It is located approximately 45 kilometers northeast of Frankfurt am Main. It has a population of around 2,800.
