Merey Akshalov ( kk, Мерей Төлегенұлы Ақшалов; born May 8, 1988) is an amateur boxer from Kazakhstan. He competed at Beijing's 2008 Summer Olympics in the lightweight division. Light welterweight, also known as junior welterweight or super lightweight, is a weight class in combat sports. Hu Qing (born January 19, 1986) is a male amateur boxer from China. He competed at the 2006 Asian Games in the lightweight (- 60 kg) division winning the gold medal in the match against Mongolia's Uranchimegiin Mönkh-Erdene. Astana
Astana, previously known as Akmolinsk, Tselinograd, Akmola, and most recently Nur-Sultan, is the capital city of Kazakhstan. The city lies on the banks of the Ishim River in the north-central part of Kazakhstan, within the Akmola Region, though administered as a city with special status separately from the rest of the region. A 2020 official estimate reported a population of 1,136,008 within the city limits, making it the second-largest city in the country, after Almaty, which had been the capital until 1997.
