Mercy Killers
Mercy Killers is an American goth band from Los Angeles, California, United States. It was formed in 2004 by future members of alternative rock band +44 Craig Fairbaugh and Shane Gallagher. Other members were Sam Soto aka Sampire on bass, Colin Barill on drums. They released their album Bloodlove on June 6th 2006. Members * Craig Fairbaugh - lead guitar and vocals. Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards
Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards was an American street punk band formed to release the songs that Lars had written. Their songs include subject matter consisting of drinking, fighting, drugs, sex, prostitutes, gangs, and street life. They were the side project band of Lars Frederiksen from Rancid. The band members were Lars Frederiksen (vocals and lead guitar), Gordy Carbone (also credited as "Unknown Bastard") (vocals), Jason Woods, aka Big Jay Bastard, (bass), Craig Leg (rhythm guitar) and Scott Abels (also credited as "Skatty Punk Rock") (drums). While Craig did not appear on the first album, he was always been a touring member of the band. The Forgotten (band)
The Forgotten is an American punk rock band based in San Jose, California. The Forgotten have toured the US, Canada, Europe and Japan numerous times. History Singer Gordy Carbone and bassist Ken Helwig's previous band SLIP had recently broken up, coincidentally, at the same time as guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and drummer Shea Roberts' band 46 Short. The four joined forces in 1997 to form The Forgotten. The band was signed as the second band ever to TKO Records. Dave Kashka joined in 1999 on drums and Johnny "Bleachedjeans" Gregurich joined in April 2000 on bass at which point the band went full-time. They have four full-lengths and four EPs on TKO Records. Juliette And The Licks
Juliette and the Licks is an American rock band led by actress and singer Juliette Lewis. Other band members have included guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and guitarist Emilio Cueto, bassist Jason Womack and drummer Ed Davis. Their popular songs include "You're Speaking My Language" and "Hot Kiss". The band broke up in 2009. They reunited for a Los Angeles show in 2015, followed by extensive touring in 2016. In June of 2016, Juliette Lewis announced a solo tour leaving the future of The Licks undetermined. In May 2018 members of the band tweeted that they were in the studio working on new music as Juliette And The Licks. Transplants (band)
The Transplants are an American punk rock/rap rock supergroup. They formed in 1999 when Tim Armstrong (of the bands Rancid and Operation Ivy) played his friend and roadie Rob Aston some beats he had made using Pro Tools and asked Aston if he would consider contributing lyrics. Initially, Armstrong played all the instruments himself, but as the project grew, he invited musician friends such as Matt Freeman (Rancid), Lars Frederiksen (Rancid), and Vic Ruggiero (The Slackers) to add to the sound. Before long, Armstrong and Aston decided to officially form a band, but to make things complete, they wanted a drummer, so Travis Barker from Blink-182 was asked to join in 2002. A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Gothic Rock
Gothic rock (also called goth rock or simply goth) is a style of rock music that emerged from post-punk in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s. The first post-punk bands which shifted toward dark music with gothic overtones include Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Bauhaus, and the Cure. The genre itself was defined as a separate movement from post-punk. Gothic rock stood out due to its darker sound, with the use of primarily minor or bass chords, reverb, dark arrangements, or dramatic and melancholic melodies, having inspirations in gothic literature allied with themes such as sadness, nihilism, dark romanticism, tragedy, melancholy and morbidity. Shane Gallagher is a musician who played guitar for rock/alternative band +44, punk band Mercy Killers, and formerly The Nervous Return. Background In 2005, Gallagher left The Nervous Return to join Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker (both of blink-182 fame) and guitarist Craig Fairbaugh to form +44.
