Mercabarna (Barcelona Metro)
Mercabarna is a Barcelona Metro station, located in the Mercabarna market complex of the Zona Franca in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona. The station is served by line L9. The station is located underneath the western approach to the Mercabarna market, with its only entrance provided by a staircase and elevator at the intersection of ''Carrer K'' and the ''Carrer Transversal 6,'' with a ticket office below ground. The Barcelona Metro (Catalan and Spanish: ) is an extensive network of rapid transit electrified railway lines that run mostly underground in central Barcelona and into the city's suburbs. It is part of the larger public transport system of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, Spain, with unified fares under the (ATM) scheme. Sants-Montjuïc () is one of the ten districts into which Barcelona has been split since 1984, numbered District 3. Comprising very different areas of the city, it covers the southern part of Barcelona, joining the two former districts ''II'' (made up by Montjuïc and Poble-Sec) and ''VII'' (Sants ― Hostafrancs ― La Bordeta), as well as the different areas comprised in the Zona Franca. Airport T1 ( ca, Aeroport T1) is a Barcelona Metro station that serves terminal T1 of Barcelona–El Prat Airport, in the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat, to the southwest of Barcelona. It is the southern terminus of the airport branch of Barcelona Metro line 9 (L9) and is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB). Opened in 2016, the station is located underneath the airport terminal and consists of two levels. The trains run on the lower level, where there is a island platform featuring screen doors.
