Meragang Sixth Form Centre
Meragang Sixth Form Centre (, abbrev: ') is a sixth form college located in Kampong Meragang, Brunei Darussalam. Known locally by its acronym, PTEM offers Cambridge International Examinations AS-level examinations at the end of students' first year, or the following May/June, and A-level examinations in the October/November of the second. Opened in 2009, PTEM became the new campus for the former Pusat Tingkatan Enam Berakas, previously located in Lambak Kiri. PTEM is a government institution administered by the Brunei Ministry of Education. Kampong Meragang is located along the Tutong-Muara Highway approximately 24 km from the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. PTEM currently serves 850 students with a teaching faculty of 110 local and international staff. The Ministry of Education (MOE or MoE; ) is a cabinet-level ministry in the government of Brunei which oversees education in the country. Pusat Tingkatan Enam Berakas
''Berakas Sixth Form Centre'' (, Abbrev: '), was a government-run sixth form centre in Brunei Darussalam, located in Lambak Kiri. PTEB, opened in November 2005. Students studied towards Cambridge 'A' and 'AS' level qualifications. Pusat Tingkatan Enam Berakas ceased operations on 14 March 2009. Staff and students were relocated to a new campus in Kampong Meragang. The new campus is called Pusat Tingkatan Enam Meragang. The Lambak Kiri campus is now home to a new secondary school and has been named Sekolah Menengah Lambak Kiri (Lambak Kiri Secondary School). The PTE Berakas Alumni remains active. It has been incorporated into the PTE Meragang Alumni. The Centre Overview Pusat Tingkatan Enam Berakas was established to provide sixth form education in Negara Brunei Darussalam.
