Menteng Stadium
Menteng Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. It was used mostly for football reserve matches and was the home stadium of Persija football team. The stadium was built in 1921 with Dutch architects F.J. Kubatz dan P.A.J. Moojen and was named ''Voetbalbond Indische Omstreken Sport'' (''Viosveld''). In October 2006 the stadium was demolished and a public park called Menteng Park was built on the area by the administration of Sutiyoso, governor of Jakarta at that time. The demolition was very debatable amongst the PSSI, because minister of sports Adhyaksa Dault had not approved this action. A multi-purpose stadium is a type of stadium designed to be easily used by multiple types of events. While any stadium could potentially host more than one type of sport or event, this concept usually refers to a specific design philosophy that stresses multifunctionality over specificity. It is used most commonly in Canada and the United States, where the two most popular outdoor team sports – Canadian football/American football and baseball – require radically different facilities. Football uses a rectangular field while baseball is played on a diamond and large outfield. Adhyaksa Dault
Dr.  H. Adhyaksa Dault, S.H., M.Si.  (born 7 June 1963) was the State Minister of Youth for Sports in the United Indonesia Cabinet (2004–2009) of Mandarese descent from Gorontalo.  He is also the youngest minister in the clock cabinet which was first announced. The father of Umar Adiputra Adhyaksa and Fakhira Putri Maryam Adhyaksa is known to be active in organizing. From 1987 to 1988, he was trusted to be the Chair of the USAKTI Law Faculty Student Senate and in the same year he was entrusted to become the Chair of the Jakarta Regional Corruption Student Senate (ISMAHI) Association. It was founded on 19 April 1930, fifteen years before Indonesian independence. PSSI joined the Asian Football Confederation in 1954 and FIFA in 1952. Menteng
Menteng is the south-central district of Central Jakarta, one of the administrative municipalities in the capital city Jakarta, Indonesia. The nexus of its heritage is the Menteng neighbourhood (Project), a new urban design developed mainly in the 1910s as a residential area for Indo-Dutch people, the upper middle class, and high officials. At that time it was the first garden suburb in colonial Batavia.
