Meneng (or Menen) is a district located in the Meneng Constituency in the country of Nauru. The constituency elects 2 members to the Parliament of Nauru in Yaren District, Yaren. Geography The district is located in the southeast of the island, covering an area of 3.1 km². It has a population of 1,400. Meneng District has 18 villages, the most of any district in Nauru. Meneng Hotel
Nauru is a small, isolated western Pacific island, which lacks many of the tourist facilities of some of its larger neighbours, such as Fiji, the Cook Islands, or even New Caledonia. Tourism is not a major contributor to the economy, with only around 200 tourists a year visiting the island. Getting to Nauru Nauru International Airport is the sole airport on the island.
