Melodic Revolution Records
Melodic Revolution Records (MRR) was formed in October 2004 by Nick Katona and his wife Jennifer. It began out as a music store in Clinton, NY selling Compact Discs, DVDs, Vinyl and memorabilia. In October 2005, an art gallery was added to the shop, simply called "Revolution Gallery". In June 2006 the "Revolution Gallery" was expanded by an additional 400 square feet and became a live venue known as "Live at The Revolution" at night and "Revolution Gallery" by day. The Kevin Thompson Trio was the first to play this new site. This started a new tradition of a live performance from local artists such as Rocky Graziano, Ryan Miller, Dave Snediker and The Jellyfish, as well as National and International touring artists such as Bless the Fall, As Tall As Lions, Alesana, Flutter Effect & Reed Foehl to name a few. Compact Discs
The compact disc (CD) is a digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. In August 1982, the first compact disc was manufactured. It was then released in October 1982 in Japan and branded as '' Digital Audio Compact Disc''. The format was later adapted (as CD-ROM) for general-purpose data storage. Several other formats were further derived, including write-once audio and data storage (CD-R), rewritable media (CD-RW), Video CD (VCD), Super Video CD (SVCD), Photo CD, Picture CD, Compact Disc-Interactive (CD-i) and Enhanced Music CD. Don Mancuso
Don Mancuso (born March 26, 1955) is an American rock music guitarist and songwriter best known for his role as guitarist and co-writer for the rock band Black Sheep as well as The Lou Gramm Band and The Voice of Foreigner. He also has a successful solo career and continues to work with Phil Naro in DDrive. He is also working with Regi Hendrix on his first solo effort. Biography Dee/Donald Mancuso attended Greece Olympia High School in Rochester, New York, and graduated in 1973. He attended the College of Marin for music and graduated from Monroe Community College with an AAS degree in Electronics Engineering in 1988. Pre-solo work Mancuso began his music career playing guitar in Black Sheep. Stratospheerius
Stratospheerius are an American progressive rock band based in New York City. They are led by electric violinist Joe Deninzon, who also plays the mandolin and serves as the band's lead vocalist. History Deninzon was born in St. Petersburg, Russia but grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and studied classical and jazz violin at Indiana University. Before relocating to the New York City area in 1998, he recorded a jazz fusion cd '' Electric/Blue'', playing primarily on a 6-string Jensen electric violin. While freelancing in the New York City area, Deninzon was also studying at the Manhattan School of Music and teaching at the New School. While at the New School, he met and began collaborating with guitarist Alex Skolnick, who was studying jazz guitar there at the time. Solstice Coil is an alternative progressive rock band formed in Israel in 2001. The band's core members are Shir Deutch, Opher Vishnia and Shai Yallin. The band describes its musical style on its official website as "combining the emotional with the intellectual", and proclaims itself as "Israel's first alt-prog-rock band to be formed on the web". Solstice Coil has released three albums, ''A Prescription for Paper Cuts'' (2005), ''Natural Causes'' (2011) and ''Commute'' (2015). Morpheus Rising
Morpheus Rising is a British rock band formed in 2008, producing music which is influenced heavily by the NWOBHM style of rock dominated by bands such as Iron Maiden, Saxon and UFO. The band also draw heavily from the style of bands such as Thin Lizzy, making use of twin guitar harmony parts throughout their compositions. Pain of Salvation is a Swedish progressive metal band led by Daniel Gildenlöw, who is the band's main songwriter, lyricist, guitarist, and vocalist. Darrel Treece-Birch (born 21 January 1967, in Fleetwood, England is an English hard rock/progressive rock keyboard player and songwriter, best known for his work with the Melodic Hard Rock band Ten, as a solo artist and up until 2020, with the progressive rock band, Nth Ascension. The DVD (common abbreviation for Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc) is a digital optical disc data storage format. It was invented and developed in 1995 and first released on November 1, 1996, in Japan. The medium can store any kind of digital data and has been widely used for video programs (watched using DVD players) or formerly for storing software and other computer files as well. DVDs offer significantly higher storage capacity than compact discs (CD) while having the same dimensions. A standard DVD can store up to 4.7 GB of storage, while variants can store up to a maximum of 17.08 GB. Anuryzm
Anuryzm is a progressive heavy metal band, based in the United Arab Emirates, featuring contributors from a wide variety of backgrounds and nationalities. Biography Anuryzm is a project created by Canadian guitarist John Bakhos in 2003 as a means to branch out from his background in extreme metal in favor of progressive heavy metal music. In 2010, after returning to the United Arab Emirates, Bakhos reconnected with British vocalist Nadeem Michel Bibby and forged the recording incarnation of Anuryzm. The band independently released their debut album ''Worm's Eye View'' in 2011. It featured guest performances by Martin Lopez (Soen, Opeth, Amon Amarth) on drums and by Uri Dijk ( Textures, Ethereal), who performed synths on one track. Aisles
Aisles is a six-piece progressive rock band originally from Santiago, Chile. The group was formed in 2001 by brothers Germán (guitar) and Luis Vergara (keyboards), and childhood friend Rodrigo Sepúlveda (guitar). Later on, it expanded to include lead singer Sebastián Vergara and Alejandro Meléndez (keyboards). Drummer Felipe Candia and bassist Daniel Baird-Kerr joined the band in 2007 and 2011 respectively.
