Melodi Grand Prix 2013
Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden. The Norwegian entry was selected through the national selection "Melodi Grand Prix 2013", organised by the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK). Margaret Berger represented Norway with the song "I Feed You My Love", which qualified from the second semi-final of the competition and placed 4th in the final with 191 points. Before Eurovision Melodi Grand Prix 2013 ''Melodi Grand Prix 2013'' was the 51st edition of the Norwegian national final ''Melodi Grand Prix'' and selected Norway's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The competition consisted of three semi-finals and a final in different cities across Norway, hosted by Jenny Skavlan and Erik Solbakken, replacing Per Sundnes who stepped down as the host since 2007. Adelén Rusillo Steen (born 4 November 1996), known professionally as Adelén, is a Spanish-Norwegian singer. Gromth
Gromth is a Norwegian symphonic metal band formed in 2008 in Ski, Akershus. History Gromth is the brainchild of Grimd, which small ideas came to his head back in the early nineties. He joined Khold in 2003 and played a lot of concerts during a quite busy period for the band. In mid 2000 he decided to write music for this long asleep project named Gromth in a more serious matter, and he contacted vocalist Ole and drummer Tjodalv to help him out with matters he couldn't fix himself. Ole quickly surprised everyone with his original grim throath, as a matter of fact he had never been in a band as a vocalist before. Tjodalv started Dimmu Borgir together with Silenoz and Shagrath back in the early nineties. In 1999 he left Dimmu Borgir and started Susperia with Cyrus. Datarock
Datarock is a Norwegian electronic rock band. The band, known for wearing red jumpsuits, formed in 2000. Original personnel were Fredrik Saroea, Ketil Mosnes and Kevin O'Brien, who soon hired Tom Mæland. O'Brien and Mæland later left the band, but the duo of Saroea and Mosnes continued the project. Their name is derived from the Norwegian word for computer – ''datamaskin'' and the word ''rock'' (meaning rock music made on a computer). Anine Stang (born 25 February 1985 Anine Victoria Stang) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. In 2007 Anine received her music degree from the prestigious songwriters academy Musikmakarna in Sweden.
