Melissa Lotholz
Melissa Lotholz (born December 2, 1992) is a Canadian bobsledder. In her rookie season, Lotholz pushed Kaillie Humphries to 3 World Cup medals. The following season the duo won 9 medals in as many races, including silver at World Championships, to secure the overall title. Altogether Humphries and Lotholz went on to win 2 World Championship medals, 17 World Cup medals and four crystal globes in 4 years. On January 9, 2016, Lotholz was part of the first all-female team to compete against men in a four-person World Cup bobsled race; her teammates were Kaillie Humphries (pilot), Cynthia Appiah, and Genevieve Thibault. In 2018 Lotholz competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics with pilot Christine de Bruin, where they finished 7th. Following the Olympic season, Lotholz switched from her role as brakeman to pilot. Barrhead, Alberta
Barrhead is a town in central Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by the County of Barrhead No. 11. It is located along the Paddle River and at the intersection of Alberta Highway 33, Highway 33 (Grizzly Trail) and Alberta Highway 18, Highway 18, approximately northwest of the City of Edmonton. It is also located along the route of the York Factory Express, Express Trail, used by the North West Company, which was originally a First Nations trail. The trail was later widened by George Simpson and John Rowand to save the North West Company over $5,000. 2016-17 Bobsleigh World Cup
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
