Melanie Gabriella Hayrapetian (born 2 December 1991), known as Melanie Wehbe, is a Swedish singer. She was born in Västerås to an Armenians, Armenian father and a Lebanese people, Lebanese mother. She participated in Melodifestivalen 2023 with the song "For the Show". Melanie Wehbe is also a songwriter, having written songs such as "Move (The Mamas song), Move" with The Mamas which won Melodifestivalen 2020, "Love Is Forever (Leonora song), Love Is Forever" with Leonora (singer), Leonora Jepsen which won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019 and "Sand (Saba song), Sand" with Saba (singer), Saba which won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024. Västerås ( , , ) is a city in central Sweden on the shore of Mälaren, Lake Mälaren in the province of Västmanland, west of Stockholm.
