Meir Minsky
Meir Minsky (born 16 April 1949) is an American, Israeli, and Belgian conductor. A frequent guest among leading orchestras he has performed with more than one hundred different orchestras worldwide, including the Munich Philharmonic, the Israel Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, orchestras in Tokyo, Chicago, Paris, Milan, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, Bonn, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Basel, Bern, Amsterdam, WarsawJerusalem Budapest, Bucharest and Brussels. He has conducted from a wide-ranging repertoire, which includes over five hundred entries of music, and specializes in the late romantic, German and Central European, repertoire of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Ravello Festival
The Ravello Festival is also popularly known as the "Wagner Festival" and is an annual summer festival of music and the arts held in the town of Ravello on the Amalfi coast in the Campania region of Italy. The festival has been held yearly since 1953 when the town fathers decided to use the historical fact of the visit to Ravello in 1880 by German composer Richard Wagner as a way to promote tourism and bolster the economy of the area in the difficult years following the Second World War. Male ( symbol: ♂) is the sex of an organism that produces the gamete (sex cell) known as sperm, which fuses with the larger female gamete, or ovum, in the process of fertilization. Phaedra (CD Label)
Phaedra is a CD label whose aim it is "to publish works written between 1830 and the present by Flemish (and occasionally Belgian) composers, and to promote them world-wide". The label used to be a subdivision of "Klassieke Concerten vzw" and was therefore not a commercial undertaking: as it was a subdivision of a "vzw", an association without lucrative purpose, Belgian law forbade it to make a profit. But on February 15, 2019, Phaedra’s founder Luc Famaey ceded the label to Dutch Music Works, a besloten vennootschap from Valkenswaard, which "will be the keeper as well as the distributor of all that has been recorded y Phaedraup till now." Phaedra was founded in 1992 by Luc Famaey. Alexandre Tansman
Alexander Tansman ( pl, Aleksander Tansman, link=no, French: Alexandre Tansman; 12 June 1897 – 15 November 1986) was a Polish composer, pianist and conductor who became a naturalized French citizen in 1938. One of the earliest representatives of neoclassicism, associated with École de Paris, Tansman was a globally recognized and celebrated composer. Early life and heritage Tansman was born and raised in Łódź, Congress Poland. His parents were both of Lithuanian Jewish ancestry.
