Meindert Van Buuren
Meindert van Buuren, Jr. (born 5 January 1995) is a Dutch former racing driver, who currently resides in Rockanje. Career Karting Van Buuren began karting in 2004 at the age of nine and raced mostly in various Dutch championships, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the Rotax Max DD2 category by 2011, when he finished in fourth position in the Rotax Max Wintercup. Formula Renault 2.0 2011 saw his début in the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup championship with Van Amersfoort Racing. Van Buuren finished 21st in the championship, despite missing the final round of the championship, at Monza. He also contested four rounds of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, but only finished one race inside the top twenty placings. Rockanje is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Voorne aan Zee, and lies about 7 km northwest of Hellevoetsluis. The 2016 TCR Benelux Touring Car Championship is the first season of the TCR Benelux Touring Car Championship. The season started on 21 May at Spa-Francorchamps and ended on 30 October at Mettet. The 2016 Renault Sport Trophy was the second and final season of the Renault–supported sports car category, a one-make racing series that is part of the Renault Sport Series. The season began at Ciudad del Motor de Aragón on 16 April and finished on 23 October at Autódromo do Estoril. The series forms part of the Renault Sport Series meetings at six triple header events. Kurt Mollekens (born 8 March 1973 in Bonheiden) is a Belgian race car driver and team owner. Mollekens debuted as a driver in top-level karting during 1990, staying there until 1992 when he moved up to Formula Ford. His debut Formula Ford year was successful, him winning all three titles he challenged for – Benelux Formula Ford, Dutch Formula Ford and Belgian Formula Ford. Mollekens also achieved success in the 1993 British Formula Ford season, which helped him into Formula Opel Euroseries (1994) and the British Formula 3 Championship (1995). Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038.
