Mehuli Ghosh
Mehuli Ghosh (born 20 November 2000) is an Indian sport shooter. She represents India at international junior shooting championships across the world. Among 123 competitors, she was the only Indian shooting athlete to reach the finals of the 2018 junior shooting competition held in the Czech Republic. She ranked seventh there. In 2018, at the XXI Commonwealth Games held at Gold Coast, Australia, she won a silver medal in Women's 10m Air Rifle after a shoot-off with Martina Veloso. she was ranked 36th in the world and 14th in Asia. Early career Mehuli joined the Serampore Rifle Club in 2014. She was banned by the club for accidentally hitting a person during practice. Later, Mehuli was mentored and coached by former Indian Olympic finalist and Arjuna Awardee, Joydeep Karmarkar. She received her training at the Joydeep Karmarkar Shooting Academy. The 2018 Summer Youth Olympics ( es, Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud de 2018), officially known as the III Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Buenos Aires 2018, were an international sports, cultural, and educational event held from 6 to 18 October 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Martina Veloso
Martina Lindsay Veloso (born October 27, 1999, in Singapore) is a Singaporean sports shooter. She won the gold medal in the 2014 ISSF World Cup in the 10 meters Air Rifle Women event and thus becoming the youngest ISSF shooter in getting one. She has also won the silver medal in 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. She was named Sportsgirl of the Year for 2015 and Sportswoman of the Year for 2019. Early life and education Veloso was born to engineer, Melvin Veloso and mother Loressa, who emigrated from the Philippines to Singapore in the 1990s. She has four siblings. The South Asian Games (SAG or SA Games), formerly known as the South Asian Federation Games (SAFG or SAF Games), is a quadrennial multi-sport event held among the athletes from South Asia.
