Mehdi Carcela
Mehdi François Carcela-González ( ar, المهدي كارسيلا; born 1 July 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Morocco national team. He began his career in his hometown club Standard Liège, playing 157 games and scoring 25 goals in two spells from 2008 to 2015. He won the league in 2009 and the cup two years later. In between his two stints, he played for Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia, joining for a fee of €5.7 million. In 2015, he signed with Benfica in Portugal, and a year later with Granada in Spain. Carcela represented Belgium at all youth levels and played twice for its senior team before changing his allegiance to his ancestral Morocco in 2010. The Belgian Cup (french: link=no, Coupe de Belgique; nl, Beker van België []; german: link=no, Belgischer Fußballpokal) is the main Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in Belgium, run by the Belgian Football Association, Royal Belgian FA. 2008–09 Belgian First Division
The 2008–09 season of the Belgian First Division (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' due to sponsorship reasons) was the 106th season of top-tier football in Belgium. The regular season began on 16 August 2008 and ended on 16 May 2009. Standard Liège were the defending champions. On 19 April 2009, Mons were relegated after Dender beat Roeselare 3–1 and made it mathematically impossible for Mons to climb into 16th position or higher. Tubize were relegated on 3 May 2009 after a 1–1 draw at home to Anderlecht. The 2008–09 champions were decided in a playoff because Standard and Anderlecht finished the regular season equal on points and number of wins. Wilfried Dalmat (born 17 July 1982) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in mainland France, he plays for the Saint Martin national team. Club career Early career in France Dalmat started his career in the youth team of U.S. Chambray-lès-Tours. In 1996, he moved to FC Nantes, where he was promoted to the first team in 2000.
