Meghan Beaubien
Meghan Renee Beaubien (born January 29, 1999) is an American softball left-handed pitcher. She has played for the Michigan Wolverines softball team since 2018. As a freshman in 2018, she led the NCAA with 33 wins, set a University of Michigan record with 32 wins in the regular season, and was selected as a first-team All-American. Early years Beaubien was born in 1999 and raised in Newport, Michigan. Her mother, Kim Beaubien, played soccer at Boston College. Beaubien attended St. Mary Catholic Central High School in Monroe, Michigan. In June 2016, she pitched a perfect game and struck out 13 of the 15 batters she faced. She was named the Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year three consecutive years from 2015 to 2017. She led St. Mary's to three state championships and finished her high school career with a 100–11 win–loss record, 1,442 strikeouts and a 0.29 earned run average (ERA). Newport is an unincorporated community in Monroe County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community is located within Berlin Charter Township. Carol Hutchins
Carol Sue Hutchins (born May 26, 1957) is an American former softball coach. In 38 years as the head coach of Michigan Wolverines softball, (1985–2022), she won more games than more than any other coach in University of Michigan history in any sport, male or female with 1,684 wins. Hutchins had a career record of 1,707 wins, 551 losses, and five ties, for a winning percentage. She led the Wolverines to their first NCAA softball championship in 2005. On April 2, 2016, Hutchins became the winningest head coach in NCAA Division I Softball history when Michigan defeated Indiana, passing Margie Wright's record of 1,457 career wins. Washington Huskies Softball
The Washington Huskies softball team represents the University of Washington in NCAA Division I college softball competition. A member of the Pac-12 Conference, they play their home games on-campus at Husky Softball Stadium in Seattle, Washington. The Georgia State Panthers softball team represents Georgia State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. It competed in the Atlantic Sun Conference (A-Sun) prior to joining the CAA. In baseball statistics, earned run average (ERA) is the average of earned runs allowed by a pitcher per nine innings pitched (i.e. the traditional length of a game).
