Megan McTavish
Megan McTavish (born April 2, 1949, Elgin, Illinois) is United States, American television actress and soap opera writer. McTavish is best known for several head writing stints on ''All My Children''. Early career Before becoming a writer, McTavish was a Chicago-based stage actress. She played Penelope in the National Radio Theater's Peabody Award-winning radio dramatization of Homer's ''Odyssey'' (1980). On television, McTavish broke into the soap opera industry as an actress; she played Lola Fontaine on ''Guiding Light'' from 1983 to 1984. Writing McTavish began her writing career as a staff writer on the Procter and Gamble Productions, Procter and Gamble Productions' ''Texas''. Elgin ( ) is a city in Cook and Kane counties in the northern part of the U.S. state of Illinois. Elgin is located northwest of Chicago, along the Fox River. Victor Miller (writer)
Victor Brooke Miller (born May 14, 1940) is an American writer for film and television. He is best known for his screenplay of the original '' Friday the 13th'' film, the popularity of which spawned a long series of sequels. Miller was not involved with any of the sequels, though he remains credited for creating the characters of Jason Voorhees, his mother Pamela, and the heroine Alice Hardy. He has also written for several daytime television series, for which he has won three Daytime Emmy Awards. The character was initially portrayed by actress Kari Gibson from her debut in July 1988 until October of that year when she was replaced by actress Cady McClain who portrayed the role for the rest of the character's existence.
