Megamol
''Megamol'' is a 1994 Filipino comedy film directed by Eddie Rodriguez and starring Sharon Cuneta and Andrew E.. The film's title is a play on the third largest shopping mall in the Philippines, SM Megamall, which is located in Mandaluyong and is a portmanteau of the lead stars' respective nicknames, ''Mega'' and ''Gamol'', respectively. Plot Set on a road-trip narrative, Corazon ( Sharon Cuneta) and Clark ( Andrew E.) have an adventure throughout Metro Manila running away from kidnappers led by Brando (Bong Alvarez). They escape the kidnappers after a confrontation with Brando in a Jollibee restaurant while eating on a pick up truck to Clark's house where his cousin Bugoy (Smokey Manaloto) and Neneng (Maybelline dela Cruz) live causing chaos along the way in the process. Luis Clemente Enriquez (August 23, 1932 – October 12, 2001), better known by his stage name Eddie Rodriguez, was a Filipino film actor and director. Early life Enriquez was born on August 23, 1932 in Zamboanga City. He spent his childhood and teen years in Sta. Ana, Manila. During the Japanese occupation, with his parents and two siblings, he moved temporarily to Ragay, Camarines Sur which was the birthplace of his mother, Rufina Clemente-Enriquez. Rosario Violeta Solís Hernández, better known as Charito Solís (October 6, 1935 – January 9, 1998), was a FAMAS and Gawad Urian Award-winning Filipina film actress, in addition to being the first Philippine woman who have bared her chest in recorded film. Profile Rosario Violeta Solís Hernández was born in Manila. At age 19, she was introduced by her uncle, the film director F. H. Constantino to Doña Narcisa de León, the head of LVN Pictures, who cast her to star in her initial movie ''Niña Bonita'', an adaptation of Frank Capra's ''It Happened One Night''. Paul Beleno "Bong" Alvarez (born June 15, 1968) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association. Dubbed as "Mr. Excitement" because of his high-leaping, slam-dunking acts.
