Megaheavy
''Megaheavy'' is a 19-minute Danish youth short film produced in 2010 by Shouting Cow Productions. It is written by Jacob Katz Hansen and Fenar Ahmad and directed by the latter and starring Eva Thompson in the role of Jolly, Jonatan Tulested as Kenneth, with additional roles by Sarah Boberg and Nicolei Faber. Synopsis The nerdy Jolly (played by Eva Thompson) is in love with Kenneth (Jonatan Tulested), an earlier classmate and she is engulfed in her love of metal music. A neighbor's son (played by Nicolei Faber) returns to the village upon hearing about his father's death, and things are no longer the same. Soundtrack The soundtrack is built on tracks by U.S. rock band The Fucking Champs, with progressive metal genre. The soundtrack was published by Drag City. Fenar Ahmad
Fenar Ahmad (in Arabic فنار أحمد) is a Danish filmmaker of Iraqi origin. He was born in 1981 in Czechoslovakia to immigrant Iraqi parents. In 1986 the family emigrated to Denmark. There he studied film in the alternative film school Super16. Ahmad is known for the award-winning 2010 short film ''Megaheavy'', co-written by Ahmad and Jacob Katz Hansen and directed by Ahmad. It won Robert Award for Best Short Fiction/Animation for 2010 during the 27th Robert Awards in Copenhagen on 7 February 2010. In 2014, Ahmad directed the long feature film '' Flow'' (also known by the Danish title ''Ækte vare'') starring Danish rapper Kian Rosenberg Larsson, better known as Gilli. The film was nominated for New Talent Grand PIX at the CPH PIX festival in 2014. It was also nominated for the Best Children / Youth film and for Audience Award at the Robert Film Awards. Danish Language
Danish (; , ) is a North Germanic language spoken by about six million people, principally in and around Denmark. The Fucking Champs
The Fucking Champs are a three-piece rock band from San Francisco, California. They are known for their heavy metal sound, based largely around shifting time signatures, guitar harmonies, and plentiful rhythm. Most songs are instrumental. They are currently signed to Drag City. They have also collaborated with Trans Am and the two have recorded albums together as TransChamps and The Fucking Am. Founded in Santa Cruz in the early 1990s, the band was initially called The Champs, but added the "Fucking" to their name – following a brief stint as The Champs UK – because The Champs had been used by a band in the late 1950s. Tim Green was a member of Nation of Ulysses, Lice, The Vile Cherubs and The Young Ginns. He has released various solo albums and remixes under the name Concentrick. The Stockholm International Film Festival ( sv, Stockholms filmfestival, italic=no) is an annual film festival held in Stockholm, Sweden. It was launched in 1990 and has been held every year since then during the second half of November. The winning film in the international competition section is awarded the Bronze Horse (Bronshästen). At 7,3kg (16 lb) the Bronze Horse is the heaviest film award in the world. The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) is a film festival that runs for two weeks in June each year. Established in 1947, it is the world's oldest continually running film festival. The Berlin International Film Festival (german: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin), usually called the Berlinale (), is a major international film festival held annually in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 1951 and originally run in June, the festival has been held every February since 1978 and is one of the " Big Three" alongside the Venice Film Festival in Italy and the Cannes Film Festival in France.
