Mega Man (DOS)
''Mega Man'' is an action- platform video game that was developed by Stephen Rozner, an ex-employee of Capcom U.S.A, and published in 1990 by Hi Tech Expressions for DOS systems. It is the first game in the ''Mega Man'' franchise to be released for home computers. The game had a negative critical response; many reviewers called it one of the worst-ever PC games. Despite this, a sequel titled '' Mega Man 3: The Robots Are Revolting'' was released in 1992. The events of this game are set after those of the original 1987 game and about two weeks before those of ''Mega Man 2''. Gameplay In ''Mega Man'', "Masters" Dyna Man, Sonic Man, and Volt Man can be selected. During the course of its existence, the company published primarily juvenile-oriented games. In video games, a boss is a significant computer-controlled opponent. A fight with a boss character is commonly referred to as a boss battle or boss fight. Bosses are generally far stronger than other opponents the player has faced up to that point. Boss battles are generally seen at climax points of particular sections of games, such as at the end of a level or stage or guarding a specific objective. ''Duke Nukem'' is a 1991 platform game developed and published by Apogee Software for MS-DOS. The 2D, multidirectional scrolling game follows the adventures of fictional character Duke Nukem across three episodes of ten levels each.
