Meg Leonard is a screenwriter, producer and director. Career Meg Leonard, also known as Meg Mistry, spent ten years working in Casting for film, television and theatre before embarking on a career as a screenwriter, producer and director. During this period she produced the short film “Ten Minute Movie” starring John Simm and Jimi Mistry which won the Special Jury Award at Houston Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film at the Belfast Film Festival. In 2018 and 2019 she co-wrote and produced two of the most successful Independent British films of the last decade; Fisherman's Friends, about a group of Cornish fishermen from Port Isaac who were signed by Universal Records and achieved a top 10 hit with their debut album of traditional sea shanties and Finding Your Feet which starred Bafta award-winning and Oscar nominated actress, Imelda Staunton and Timothy Spall. Palm Springs International Film Festival (sometimes stylized shortly as PSIFF) is a film festival held in Palm Springs, California. Port Isaac ( kw, Porthysek) is a small fishing village on the Atlantic coast of north Cornwall, England, in the United Kingdom. ''One and All'' is a tall ship based in Adelaide, and rigged for twelve sails, which are controlled by 100 lines. After being launched in 1985, she took part in the First Fleet Re-enactment Voyage as part of Australia's bicentenary celebrations, travelling from Rio de Janeiro back to Australia. She was commonly used for sail training, offering courses and voyages that last from between a few hours to many weeks, especially for youth at risk. Green and currently run by his son Nigel Green. Michael L. Green was a veteran producer/distributor involved in the film industry since the 1930s when he was a teenager. Captain Sir Thomas Moore (30 April 1920 – 2 February 2021), more popularly known as Captain Tom, was a British Army officer and fundraiser who made international headlines in 2020 when he raised money for charity in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic. He served in India and the Burma campaign during the Second World War, and later became an instructor in armoured warfare. After the war, he worked as managing director of a concrete company and was an avid motorcycle racer.
