Meeting People Is Terrible
''Meeting People Is Terrible'' is the second album by Vancouver dance-punk band Fake Shark - Real Zombie!. Originally, it was set to be released April 25, 2009 in Canada but had been pushed back by the label to August 26, 2009 in Japan and international release May 31, 2010. The album contains the singles " Angel Lust" and "Siamese Disease". The album was preceded by the release of the Angel Lust EP, which contained songs included on the album. The album's title might be in reference to the Radiohead documentary ''Meeting People Is Easy''. The bonus track 'Puke Rawk' was produced, engineered and mixed by Hot Hot Heat singer Steve Bays. Fake Shark - Real Zombie!
Fake Shark (formerly known as Fake Shark – Real Zombie!) is a Canadian electronic indie-pop band from Vancouver, British Columbia. Formed in 2005, their early musical style mainly combined elements of dance punk and IDM but have since shifted to a more commercial pop sound. The name is a reference to Lucio Fulci's film ''Zombi 2'', where a real shark and a zombie engage in combat. History Fake Shark was conceived by Kevin "Kevvy Mental" Maher and Louis Wu in October 2005 as a way of combining the styles of the bands they liked in hopes to one day open for them. They met in high school and formed Fake Shark shortly after graduation. To complete the band, they recruited (via Craigslist) bassist Dan Hughes and The Heck's former drummer, Malcolm Holt. Steve Bays is a Canadian musician, audio engineer, and producer. He is a member of Canadian bands Hot Hot Heat, Fur Trade, and Mounties. Guitar

Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments. Kevin James Maher
Kevin "Kevvy Mental" Maher (born April 20, 1988) is a Canadian musician, producer, film composer and remix artist most notable for his work in Fake Shark as lead vocalist and programmer. Early life Maher was born an only child in Edmonton, Alberta, and raised in Langley, British Columbia, by a single mother. Maher attended Langley Fine Arts School majoring in visual art. Maher was kicked out of Langley Fine Arts in his grade 12 year. Maher attended Walnut Grove Secondary to finish his high school education. During his time at Walnut Grove, Maher also attended AI Burnaby for audio engineering. Hot Hot Heat
Hot Hot Heat is a Canadian indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 1999. The band was signed by Seattle label Sub Pop in 2001 and released its first EP, ''Knock Knock Knock'', and first full-length album, '' Make Up the Breakdown'', the following year. The band released five full-length albums, the last being the self-titled ''Hot Hot Heat'' in 2016. The band's style makes use of electronic and traditional instruments and has variously been categorized as dance-punk, post-punk revival, new wave, and art-punk.
