Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), formerly Meerut University, is a public state university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. The university was established in 1965. It was later renamed to its current name after Chaudhary Charan Singh, former Prime minister of India. The university celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991. Bharatiya Kisan Union
Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) (English: Indian Farmers' Union) is a farmer's representative organisation in India. It was founded by Chaudhary Charan Singh from the ''Punjab Khetibari Union'' (Punjab Farming Union) which became its Punjab branch. The union is affiliated to the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee and Via Campesina. The national headquarters of the union is located in Sisauli, Uttar Pradesh. History The foundation of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) began with the formation of the ''Punjab Khetibari Zamindari Union'' (later renamed ''Punjab Khetibari Union'') in May 1972 with the merger of 11 peasants group in Chandigarh. Rakesh Tikait (born 4 June 1969) is a national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) from Uttar Pradesh, India. Early life Tikait was born on 4 June 1969 in Sisauli town of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He is the son of a prominent farmer leader and BKU co-founder late Mahendra Singh Tikait. His eldest brother is Naresh Tikait, who is the National President of the BKU. Career Tikait graduated with an M.A. degree from Meerut University and then did LLB after that. He joined Delhi Police in 1992, as constable then Sub Inspector, but left Delhi police in 19931994. After leaving the police, he joined the BKU. Karim Uddin Barbhuiya, also known by his daak naam Saju ( bn, সাজু), is an Indian All India United Democratic Front politician and businessman. He has been serving as a Member of Assam Legislative Assembly for Sonai since 2021. Divya Kakran
Divya Kakran (born 1998) is a freestyle wrestler from India. Divya has won 60 medals, including 17 gold medals in the Delhi State Championship, and has won the Bharat Kesari title eight times. Satyadev Prasad
Satyadev Prasad (born 19 September 1979) is an athlete from India. He competes in archery. Prasad competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's individual archery. He won his first match, advancing to the round of 32. In the second round of elimination, he was again victorious and advanced to the round of 16. The third match was Prasad's downfall, as he lost to 1st-ranked Im Dong-hyun of South Korea in a thrilling match that went down to the last round. Prasad placed 10th overall.
