Meendum Kokila
''Meendum Kokila'' () is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by G. N. Rangarajan from a screenplay written by Ananthu and story by Haasan Brothers. The film stars Kamal Haasan and Sridevi. Deepa, M. Krishnamoorthy, Thengai Srinivasan and Omakuchi Narasimhan are featured in supporting roles. Ananthu (screenwriter)
Ananthu was an Indian screenwriter working on Tamil language films, often collaborating with K. Balachander. He was the mentor of actor Kamal Haasan. Career Ananthu was a screenwriter and close associate of director K. Balachander. He also worked with director C. Rudraiah on his two films. In the title card, Rudhraiya had dedicated the film ''Aval Appadithan'' to Ananthu. Ananthu was sub-dialogue writer with Chitralaya Gopu for the films ''Anubhavam Pudhumai'' and ''Galatta Kalyanam'' directed by C. V. Rajendran. Indukuri Ramakrishnam Raju (31 August 1934 – 14 August 1994), populary known by his pen name Rajasri, was an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, film director, and music composer in Telugu cinema. He has worked on nearly 1000 films, a majority of them are dubbed films. He was popularly referred to as ''Anuvaada Brahma'' (). He used to pen Telugu lyrics for most of the films dubbed from Tamil in the 1980s and early 1990s. Ramasamy Ganesan (17 November 1920 – 22 March 2005), better known by his stage name Gemini Ganesan, was an Indian actor who worked mainly in Tamil cinema.
