Silvia Truu
Silvia Truu (full name Silvia Astrid Truu, until 1936 Koch, until 1941 Koht; 16 December 1922 – 5 May 1990) was an Estonian children's writer. She was born in Paldiski. She worked at several newspapers' offices: ''Rahva Hääl'', '' Noorte Hääl'' and ''Nõukogude Naine''. From 1965 she was a professional writer. Since 1973 she was a member of Estonian Writers' Union. Swissôtel Tallinn is a luxury hotel in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and is managed by Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts. Swissôtel Tallinn is one of the Baltic's tallest hotels at a height of 117 metres (384 ft). This hotel is part of the Tornimäe complex, located in the heart of Tallinn, which consists of the hotel and a residential building. The hotel has 238 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a spa, and fitness center. History The contract to build this hotel was signed in 2004. Construction took over 3 years to complete. The ceremonial opening of the hotel took place on December 10, 2007. The Tornimäe Towers were designed by Meeli Truu from Nord Projekt AS. The interior decorator was Meelis Press Architects. It's situated in the Haabersti District's subdistrict of Haabersti. Rocca al Mare is the third largest shopping centre in Estonia, with a gross leasable area of containing nearly 170 different shops (including 14 restaurants and cafés), free of charge dressing room, and more than 1300 parking spaces. An architect is a person who plans, designs and oversees the construction of buildings. To practice architecture means to provide services in connection with the design of buildings and the space within the site surrounding the buildings that have human occupancy or use as their principal purpose.
