Drew Meekins
Drew Meekins (born April 10, 1985) is an American retired pairs skater and choreographer. With former partner Julia Vlassov, he is the 2006 World Junior Champion. Meekins attended the 2018 Olympic Games with Mirai Nagasu. Skating career Meekins and Vlassov won the 2006 World Junior Championships. In their first season of senior international competition, they won the silver at the Nebelhorn Trophy, placed sixth at the 2006 Cup of China, and placed 5th at the 2006 NHK Trophy. Vlassov and Meekins finished in 7th place in their senior debut at the 2007 U.S. Championships. They were fifth in the free program. Vlassov and Meekins were assigned to two Grand Prix events for the 2007–2008 season; however, they were forced to withdraw from the 2007 Skate Canada International before the event began due to an injury to Meekins's shoulder which occurred during an attempted lift in practice. Isaac Melson Meekins
Isaac Melson Meekins (February 13, 1875 – November 21, 1946) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Education and career Born in Tyrrell County, North Carolina, Meekins received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from Wake Forest University in 1896 and entered private practice in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He was Mayor of Elizabeth City in 1897, and city attorney of Elizabeth City in 1898. He was postmaster of Elizabeth City from 1903 to 1908. He was an Assistant United States Attorney of the Eastern District of North Carolina from 1910 to 1914. He was general counsel for the Alien Property Custodian in Washington, D.C. from 1921 to 1922. He was general counsel and manager for the Enemy Insurance Company in 1922. In 1924, Meekins was the unsuccessful Republican nominee for Governor of North Carolina. Marlo Meekins is an American cartoonist, comedian, caricaturist, model and actress. She is best known for her work on Vine. Biography Meekins was born in Collingswood, New Jersey. In 2003, she earned a bachelor's degree in Illustration from Moore College of Art and Design. She also attended the Rhode Island School of Design. Meekins' work came to notice when she started a blog in 2005 and was featured in Zoo Weekly Australia and ''Attack of the Show!'', who praised her "''Ren & Stimpy''-style illustrations."
