Dave Meegan
Dave Meegan is a record producer. He trained under Trevor Horn and is best known for his work with Marillion. Marillion guitarist Steve Rothery has said he admires Meegan's work so much he considers him to be "a sixth member of the band". He also worked for U2 as an engineer during the sessions for ''The Joshua Tree'' and ''Rattle and Hum''. Meegan's association with Marillion began when he worked as an assistant engineer on their second album, '' Fugazi''. He later returned to produce their albums '' Brave'', a concept album, and '' Afraid of Sunlight'', which were their final two albums released on EMI in the 1990s. He also produced their 2001 album '' Anoraknophobia'' and their 2004 album '' Marbles'', containing the single " You're Gone" which reached number 7 in the UK Singles Chart, the band's highest-charting single since Steve Hogarth replaced original singer Fish in 1989. George Meegan
George Meegan (born 2 December 1952) is a British adventurer and alternative educator best known for his unbroken walk of the Western Hemisphere from the southern tip of South America to the northernmost part of Alaska at Prudhoe Bay. This journey was 19,019 miles (30,608 km) on foot, completed in 2,426 days (1977–1983) and is documented in his book ''The Longest Walk'' (1988). He received substantial media coverage (including appearances on the ''Today Show,'' ''CBS Morning News'' and ''Larry King Live'') and was featured in numerous public speaking forums. Thomas Michael Kevin Elmore-Meegan (born 26 March 1959, in Liverpool), also known as Michael Meegan or Mike Meegan, is a British-born Irish humanitarian and the founder of several charities and non-governmental organisations, specialising in anti-hunger and community health care programmes. His brother, Simon Elmore, is a Munich-based musician. Paddy Meegan
Patrick Meegan (1922 – 14 November 2012) was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a right corner-forward at senior level for the Meath county team. Meegan made his first appearance for the team during the 1942 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1954 championship. During that time he won two All-Ireland medals, five Leinster medals and two National Football League medals. Meegan was an All-Ireland runner-up on two occasions. At club level Meegan was a three-time county championship medalist with Syddan.
