Regional Municipality Of Peel
The Regional Municipality of Peel (informally Peel Region or Region of Peel, also formerly Peel County) is a regional municipality in the Greater Toronto Area, Southern Ontario, Canada. It consists of three municipalities to the west and northwest of the city of Toronto: the cities of Mississauga and Brampton, and the town of Caledon, each of which spans its full east–west width. The regional seat is in Brampton. The entire Greater Toronto Area is the inner ring of the Golden Horseshoe. With a population of about 1.4 million, Peel Region's growth can be credited largely to immigration and transportation infrastructure: seven 400-series highways serve the region, and most of Toronto Pearson International Airport is located within its boundaries. TV1 (Canada)
TV1 (formerly Bell Local and Community One) is a group of community channels operated by Bell Canada's Fibe TV and FibreOP TV services and are exclusive to those services. The service is primarily delivered via video on demand. History Bell Local channels operated in four cities in Bell's Fibe TV service area; they were renamed TV1 on August 31, 2015. Bell Aliant simultaneously operated a single Community One channel serving all of Atlantic Canada, prior to its full acquisition by (and integration into) Bell Canada in 2014. In 2015, Bell Aliant acquired broadcast rights to Atlantic University Sport for broadcast on Community One. Community One was also renamed TV1 in September 2015. Makeful (formerly known as BiteTV) is a Canadian pay television channel owned by Blue Ant Media. It has transmittered from 299 Queen Street West since at least 2012. The channel was first launched on March 5, 2005, as BiteTV, and primarily aired short form programming in the genre of reality, and offered a multi-panel visual format called the "PC Chat 2 Screen".
