Medaille College
Medaille University is a private university in Buffalo, New York. The Sisters of St. Joseph founded Medaille in 1937. Medaille serves roughly 1,600 students from Western New York and Southern Ontario. Campuses Medaille's main campus is in Buffalo, New York, on a tree-lined urban setting at the intersection of New York State Route 198 and Parkside Avenue. It is within the Olmsted Crescent, a historic area of parkways and landscape designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Medaille also has a branch campus in Rochester. This campus offers undergraduate degrees for adult students in business administration, and graduate degrees in business administration and organizational leadership, as well as mental health counseling. All-High Stadium
All-High Stadium (Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium) is a football stadium in Buffalo, New York. It was opened in 1926, and received a Memorial Day dedication on May 29, 1929. The stadium was modeled after classic European soccer stadiums of the time. It is part of the Bennett High School complex. It is bounded by the high school and Main Street to the northwest, Manhattan Avenue to the northeast, Hill Street to the southeast, and Mercer Avenue to the southwest. History Filming The stadium was used in the filming of a key scene in ''The Natural'', a 1984 film set in the 1930s, as a stand-in for Wrigley Field in Chicago, which was unavailable. Although there is some ivy along the walls suggesting Wrigley, the upper deck in the outfield is more suggestive of Chicago's other major ballpark of that era, Comiskey Park. Richard Jacob
Richard L. Jacob Ph.D. (born September 24, 1958, in Niagara Falls, New York), is a sports coach and professor. He graduated from Niagara Catholic High School and Eisenhower College and obtained master's degrees in physical education and educational counseling at Canisius College and Niagara University, respectively. He later received his doctorate from SUNY Buffalo in school/educational psychology. In November 2006, he became interim chair of the business department at Medaille College. He currently is a professor of sport psychology at Medaille and is the head of the college's Sport Management program. In his career as a coach, he has worked both at the collegiate and professional ranks. He was head coach of Buffalo's Buffalo Rapids basketball team from 2005 to 2006. Gary Boughton (born November 16, 1988) is an American soccer player played in the USL Premier Development League, USL Professional League, Major Indoor Soccer League, National Premier Soccer League, and the Canadian Soccer League. Career College and amateur Boughton played college soccer at Medaille College. He led his Medaille team to four straight undefeated conference championships, three trips to the NCAA tournament, and in his senior year smashed the NCAA career assists record, registering 82 career assists in his four years. Rochester New York FC, formerly known as the Rochester Rhinos, are an American professional soccer team based in Rochester, New York, United States. Founded in 1996, as the Rochester Raging Rhinos, they changed their name to Rochester Rhinos to start the 2008 season. Kitsap SC Pumas was an American soccer team based in Bremerton, Washington, United States. The team played in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. From its foundation in 2009 to 2016, the club played in the Premier Development League (PDL), as a professional club. As part of the agreement upon leaving PDL after the 2016 season, the club was unable to use the "Kitsap Pumas" name during the 2017 season while playing in NPSL. The club was officially renamed Kitsap SC until September 1, 2017 when the Pumas name was restored. The club announced on July 20, 2018 that it would cease operations due to declining attendance. Kendell McFayden (born September 16, 1988) is an American soccer player and coach who plays as a forward. Career College and amateur During his college years McFayden also played with the Austin Aztex U23 in the USL Premier Development League, scoring 8 goals in 16 games for the team. Professional McFayden turned professional in 2010 when he signed with the Austin Aztex in the USSF Division 2 Professional League. He made his professional debut, and scored his first professional goal, on July 31, 2010, in a 3–1 victory over Miami FC. He was released by the Aztex at the end of the 2010 season, prior to their relocation to Florida and their rebranding as Orlando City. The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York, by guitarist/vocalist John Rzeznik, bassist/vocalist Robby Takac, and drummer George Tutuska. Robby Takac
Robert Carl Takac Jr. (born September 30, 1964) is an American rock bassist and vocalist. Takac is one of the founding members of the Goo Goo Dolls, along with Johnny Rzeznik. Background Takac was born in Buffalo, New York and grew up in the Buffalo suburb of West Seneca with his parents and younger sister. One of his grandparents was Hungarian, which is reflected by his name (originally written: Takács, which is Hungarian for 'weaver'). He graduated from West Seneca East Senior High School in 1982. He graduated from Medaille College with a Communication degree, with an emphasis on Radio Broadcasting.
