Mecon (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Mecon (in Ancient Greek , ''Mḗkо̄n'', meaning "poppy") was a beautiful young Athenian man, loved by the goddess Demeter. Mythology The handsome Mecon became the lover of the agricultural goddess Demeter.
