Meadow Branch is a U.S. Geological Survey. National Hydrography Dataset high-resolution flowline dataThe National Map, accessed August 15, 2011 tributary stream of Sleepy Creek in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle region. It passes through the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, where it is dammed to form the Sleepy Creek Lake. Course Meadow Branch's source lies between Sleepy Creek Mountain () and Third Hill Mountain () near Locks-of-the-Mountain in Berkeley County. Meadow Branch continues between the two mountains northward through the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area where it joins Roaring Run. Meadow Branch is dammed to form Sleepy Creek Lake, a impoundment. The stream flows into Morgan County where it meanders through the steep valley created at the northern ends of both Sleepy Creek and Third Hill Mountains. Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area
Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area is located in Morgan County, West Virginia, Morgan and Berkeley County, West Virginia, Berkeley Counties in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. It encompasses , mostly covered with mixed oak and pine forest, although about are covered with mixed hardwoods. The Sleepy Creek Lake is located entirely within the WMA. Location To access Sleepy Creek WMA from Berkeley Springs, follow U.S. Route 522 south to Winchester Grade Road and follow Winchester Grade Road to Shanghai Road. Third Hill Mountain
Third Hill Mountain is both the highest and most topographically prominent mountain in Berkeley County within the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Sleepy Creek Mountain
Sleepy Creek Mountain is a mountain ridge in the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians on the border between Morgan and Berkeley counties in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The long-distance Tuscarora Trail traverses the southern ridge and northern bench of the mountain. Together with Third Hill Mountain to the east, the two mountains form a blind valley that contains Sleepy Creek Lake and the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area. Sleepy Creek and Third Hill Mountains are distinctive for their height in the relatively level terrain of the far Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Sleepy Creek Lake is a impoundment of the Meadow Branch of Sleepy Creek in Berkeley County, West Virginia, Berkeley County in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle.
