''Me'' is the debut album by London-based band Buck Brothers, released in the United Kingdom in March 2007 and the United States in October 2007. On 5 March 2007, to commemorate the album's UK release, the band broke the Guinness World Record for the "most gigs performed in 12 hours". Buck Brothers
Buck Brothers were a British three piece rock band. The band's sound is a mixture of pop and punk. History Buck Brothers formed early in 2005 via a chance meeting at the unlikely location of a Buddhist Disco in North London. None of the members are actually called Buck or are Brothers. The band claim to be named after an adult film company that guitarist Dom used to work for before joining the band. *Although the band were based in London, guitarist Dom and drummer Craig, are from the Island of Jersey. The trio gained international media attention for successfully breaking a world record for the "highest number of gigs performed in a 12 hour period" on March 5, 2007 to mark the release of the band's debut album '' Me'' in the UK and North America on Cargo Records and Scratch Records respectively. AllMusic (previously known as All Music Guide and AMG) is an American online music database. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. ''Guinness World Records'', known from its inception in 1955 until 1999 as ''The Guinness Book of Records'' and in previous United States editions as ''The Guinness Book of World Records'', is a reference book published annually, listing world records both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The brainchild of Sir Hugh Beaver, the book was co-founded by twin brothers Norris and Ross McWhirter in Fleet Street, London, in August 1955. ''London Lite'' was the trading name of a British free daily newspaper, published by Associated Newspapers (part of Daily Mail and General Trust), and now defunct. It was available Monday to Friday afternoons and evenings from street distributors in Central London only. On 27 October 2009, Associated Newspapers announced that it had entered into negotiation with staff over the future of the paper. The last edition was published on Friday, 13 November 2009, a date chosen by staff for its swan song.
