McPherson Township is a township in Blue Earth County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 470 as of the 2000 census. McPherson Township was named for James B. McPherson, an officer in the Civil War. MacPherson Stadium () was an indoor stadium that played an important role to the development of youth recreation in Hong Kong. Located at Yim Po Fong Street, on the edge of Mong Kok, a high population density area, it had a capacity of 1,850. The stadium was within Queen Elizabeth II Youth Centre (). It was adjacent to the Macpherson Playground () which has a football pitch and acts as a gathering place for youth. The stadium was managed by the Hong Kong Playground Association. McPherson Range
The McPherson Range is an extensive mountain range, a spur of the Great Dividing Range, heading in an easterly direction from near Wallangarra to the Pacific Ocean coastline. It forms part of the Scenic Rim on the border between the states of New South Wales and Queensland. Further west of the McPherson Range is the Main Range. Towards the coast the range continues into the Border Ranges and other mountainous terrain formed by the Tweed Volcano. The Australian electoral Division of McPherson was named after the mountain range. Geography Wilsons Peak is considered to be the intersection of the Great Divide and the McPherson Range. There are five waterfalls in this part of the range including Teviot Falls, Queen Mary Falls, Daggs Falls and Browns Falls . Fort McPherson ( Gwich'in: ''Teetł'it Zheh'' , ''at the head of the waters'') is a hamlet located in the Inuvik Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. It is located on the east bank of the Peel River and is south of Inuvik on the Dempster Highway. The First Nations people who make up the majority are Gwich'in (Teetł'it Gwich'in) and the two principal languages spoken are Gwichʼin and English. Originally the site of a Hudson's Bay Company post the community was named for Murdoch McPherson. Most people have vehicles and regularly make trips to either Inuvik, or Whitehorse, Yukon. History Fort McPherson was the starting point of Francis Joseph Fitzgerald's famous tragic journey of "The Lost Patrol". All four men on the Patrol, including Fitzgerald, were buried at Fort McPherson on 28 March 1911. MacPherson is a neighbourhood located within the district of Geylang in the Central Region of Singapore. Its location roughly corresponds to the identically titled subzone in the Geylang Planning Area and is approximately sandwiched between the neighbourhoods of Aljunied and Paya Lebar. MacPherson largely consists of various public housing estates centered on Circuit Road and an industrial area. McPherson Meade (born 16 February 1979) is a West Indian cricketer. Meade is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He also plays football for the Montserrat football team as a goalkeeper. He was born on Montserrat. Meade appeared at Under-19 level for the Leeward Islands in 1997 and 1998, making a total of eight appearances for the team. Starting in 2004, Meade played club cricket in England for Chingford Cricket Club. In 2006, Montserrat were invited to take part in the 2006 Stanford 20/20, whose matches held official Twenty20 status. Meade made his Twenty20 debut for Montserrat in their first-round match against Guyana, with their first-class opponents winning the match by 8 wickets.
