McKinley High School (Sebring, Ohio)
McKinley High School is a public high school located in Sebring, Ohio. It is the only high school in the district, and educates 175 students enrolled in grades 7 through 12. In 1914, the Sebring Local School District was established and charged with strengthening the educational opportunities for students in the village of Sebring and the surrounding area. The Sebring Local School District built the current McKinley High School in Sebring in the late 1990s. Sebring, Ohio
Sebring is a village in southwestern Mahoning County, Ohio, United States. The population was 4,191 as of the 2020 census. It is part of the Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area. History Sebring was founded by the Sebring family from East Liverpool, Ohio, who were successful pottery owners that sought to establish their own pottery town. Sebring was incorporated 1899. Much of the original family built the establishing houses and factories in the town, which at their high employed approximately 3,300 workers. Northern 8 Football Conference
The Northern 8 Football Conference is an 8-man football conference that began competition in the fall of and is made up of 8-man teams from high schools located in Ohio. Members History The Northern 8 was created in October 2019 when Stryker and Toledo Christian agreed at a meeting to form the league for OHSAA schools that are committing to play 8-man football for the future. The OHSAA does not currently sponsor the 8-man game, but several member schools resorted to that option recently instead of playing the traditional 11-man game or choosing not to play out the season. Stryker and Toledo Christian forfeited their football membership in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference, but remained members of the Buckeye Border Conference and the TAAC respectively, for all other sports. Rose Mary Woods (December 26, 1917 – January 22, 2005) was Richard Nixon's secretary from his days in Congress in 1951 through the end of his political career. Before H. R.
