Mazda G4A-EL Transmission
The G4A-EL was a 4-speed automatic transmission from Mazda. It was Mazda's first four-speed transmission on its introduction in 1987. The original 1987 G4A-EL included three shift solenoids, a lockup solenoid, a vane-type pump, and a throttle cable. It was redesigned for 1988 and used in the Ford Probe the next year under the 4EAT-G name by Ford. Automatic Transmission
An automatic transmission (sometimes abbreviated to auto or AT) is a multi-speed transmission used in internal combustion engine-based motor vehicles that does not require any input from the driver to change forward gears under normal driving conditions. Mazda Xedos
The Mazda Xedos is a range of executive cars that were launched by Japanese manufacturer Mazda in 1992. The original model was the Mazda Xedos 6, which was similar in size and in engine to the BMW 3 Series. The Xedos 6 has two types of engines - 24 valve V6 @ 144 hp named KF and 16 valve L4 @ 107 hp named B6. In 1994, Xedos Mazda renewed the Xedos 6 model with changes in engine ecological standards and body exterior. The Xedos 6 was marketed as the Eunos 500 in Japan and Australia. Ford Duratec Engine
Duratec is a brand name of the Ford Motor Company used for the company's range of gasoline-powered four-cylinder, five-cylinder and six-cylinder passenger car engines. The original 1993 Duratec V6 engine was designed by Ford and Porsche. Ford first introduced this engine in the Ford Mondeo. Over time, "Duratec" became an omnibus name for Ford's gasoline engines unrelated to the original V6. The Ford Escape is a compact crossover SUV sold by Ford since 2000 over four generations. The first generation was jointly developed with Mazda which also created the Mazda Tribute and Mercury Mariner as the twin model. Second generations of the Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner, and Mazda Tribute were released in 2007 for the 2008 model year, but mostly restricted to North America.
