Maylson Barbosa Teixeira
Maylson Barbosa Teixeira (born 6 March 1989), simply known as Maylson, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Novo Hamburgo. Club career Grêmio Born in São Bernardo do Campo, Maylson started his career on Grêmio in 2005, playing for the youth team. A versatile midfielder, he's one of rising stars from the club. On November 11, 2007, he made his first team debut, in a 1–0 away loss against São Paulo, playing the full match. He also played the following game, a 0–3 away win over América de Natal. Maylson assisted the first goal, scored by Willian Magrão, with a brilliant pass. In January 2008, he feature in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior and after his good performances, Grêmio rejected a £3 million bid from the German company Rogon Sportmanagement. São Bernardo do Campo () is a Brazilian Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in the state of São Paulo. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The South American Youth Football Championship, also known as U-20 South American Championship and es, Torneo Juventudes de América, "Campeonato Sudamericano Sub 20" or pt, Juventude da América (English: "America's Youth") is a South American football tournament organized by the CONMEBOL for South American national teams of men under age of 20. The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 17th edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which was hosted by Egypt from 24 September to 16 October 2009. The tournament was initially going to take place between 10 and 31 July. However, the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup was played mid-year, resulting in both that year's U-20 and 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup, U-17 World Cups being played at the end of the year. The 2009 South American Youth Championship (Sudamericano sub-20) was a football competition for national teams U-20 who are associated with the football federation CONMEBOL. It was the 24th time the tournament was held and took place in Venezuela from January 19 to February 8. It also served as qualification for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B is commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2022 was officially called Brasileirão Sportingbet by sponsorship reasons. It is the second tier of the Brazilian football league system. Although not having been played annually since its founding in 1971, the competition format has changed almost every season. The Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior (or ''São Paulo Youth Football Cup'', in English), also known as Copa São Paulo de Juniores (''São Paulo Youth Cup'') and Copinha (''Little Cup''), is a cup competition played by Brazilian under-20 association football teams (until the 2006 edition, it was contested by under-21 teams), most of them from São Paulo state.
